Why Choose The BOLO Project for Your Teen?
Program Overview
The BOLO Project is a holistic program specially designed to equip teens with the essential skills they need to thrive, both in life and in their academic journey. From building leadership qualities to mastering financial literacy and preparing for college and beyond, we set the foundation for a bright and successful future.
We believe dogs change the way we feel and how we see the world. Science has shown that dogs can play a huge role in reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. The BOLO project takes a dog-centric approach to helping teens “fetch anything they desire in life”.
This workshop style program begins with a two-day retreat to introduce strategies for building a success mindset, to cope with stress and anxiety, and to improve leadership and communication skills. The retreat combines fun and engaging exercises, speakers, and group activities.
Following the retreat, teens will attend eight 90 minute sessions once per week focused on the four pillars:
Success Principles
Financial Literacy
Leadership/Communication
Philanthropy
*This program meets college admissions standards for leadership, service hours, and extracurricular activities.*
