Gila Kurtz is a best-selling author, award-winning entrepreneur, and passionate educator dedicated to empowering the next generation through the transformative power of the dog-human bond. As the Founder and Executive Director of The BOLO Project, Gila leads a groundbreaking nonprofit that equips teens with confidence, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership skills, blending neuroscience-based strategies with the unconditional love of dogs.

A lifelong teacher and coach, Gila has inspired thousands through her dynamic workshops, speaking engagements, and as co-founder of Dog is Good, a nationally recognized lifestyle brand for dog lovers. She has been honored with multiple awards for her leadership and innovation, including recognition as Woman of the Year in Business.

With a background in education and over two decades of entrepreneurial experience, Gila brings a unique ability to connect with teens and parents alike—meeting them where they are, and guiding them toward who they can become.
